Our Super Bowl week continues with former Fresno native and 49er TE Charle Young [that is the spelling, football card withstanding]. Young gives credit for his coach at Edison HS, Dr. Pete Mehas. When he went to USC, his goal was to be the Heisman winner. He says the Super Bowl is a massive stage. That will change things. If you are not careful, you might hyperventilate. Even as a seasoned vet, he had a while to adjusting to the crowd at the 1982 Super Bowl with the 49ers. Those who embrace the pressure, are the ones who succeed. |
