Fresno police cheif Jerry Dyer joined the show. The chief supports legal gun ownership.

The chief took phone calls. Listeners called with concerns about reaction time, mental illness and gun rights.

One caller asked the chief to define the meaning of an assault weapon, which the cheif says is hard to do. Dyer tries to stay out of the national gun debate, as he doesn't see it going anywhere.

Continuing with 49ers Week, former safety Tom Holmoe joined the show. He says the team, with the talent they had, was so confident, there was no way they could lose.

Holmoe is currently the athletic director at BYU. He remembers Colin Kaepernick tearing up his team with Kap was at Nevada.

His first Super Bowl experience was in 1985 vs. Miami at Stanford. He didn't understand the hype, since he got to play a virtual home game. He didn't get it until 1989 in Miami.

In his capacity at BYU, he is open to adding Fresno State to the football schedule.

Thanks to our guests on the show and you the callers. bill@powertalk967.com
