Former state senator Michael Rubio is soon to be Chevron employee Michael Rubio. And now, comes words of some questionable home loan and sale deals that Rubio made with a CEO of a company called San Joaquin Refining. Mmmm.

Rubio was a guest on the show on January 16. He said he would be glad to return to the show. Well, since he left office and the latest word about these home dealings, he does not appear to be a man of his word.

It would be refreshing to hear some truth and honesty of what the real reason Rubio left. He claims it was to spend more time with family. Yet, he is working for a new job that on the surface, appears to be just as demanding as a state senate job. And, the fact that he quit his job in the middle of his term, we have questions. He has answers, yet refuses to come on the show and answer.

Maxine Waters is back to saying silly things. She says the sequestration could cost 170 million jobs. Notice how that number keeps growing? Son, the sequestration will cost every American their job.

So, ICE doesn't want illegal immigrants in their jail? Maricopa (AZ) County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says he'll take them, free of charge. Fresno sheriff Margaret Mims might want to jump on it to. A nice desert jail. Out in the Mojave. Three hots and a cot.

No Mayor Swearengin on the show yet, but her office did send over the city's proposed budget. Lots of taxes and fees collected. The mayor now says their may some relief on the horizon. After seeing all those charges, I think the council should work on cutting them.

As far as the trash outsourcing issue, the union won. I don't want to spend anymore money to hold a special election. We can live with the trash collection we got. Sure, I would like it to be privatized, if it benefited the city. But, not if it will cost $1 million to put it on the ballot.
