Congressman Devin Nunes (R-Fresno/Visalia) joined me live in studio. We discussed whether he needs to get along with Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) to get legislation passed. He said "get along with what?" He is waiting for the senator to draft any type of water legislation to know where she stands. She is not great behind closed doors. He is tired of people thinking he should be nice in order to legislate.
Nunes found hypocrisy of the left on many of their issues like gun control and the environment.
Nunes was miffed that CBS didn't show a replay on the horrific leg break suffered by Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware last weekend. He wished the nanny state environment wouldn't force decisions because they think the audience couldn't handle it.
Regarding the recent interview where congressman Don Young (R-Alaska) used a derogatory term for Hispanics, Nunes accepted Young's apology. There was no excuse for what he said, but it was time to move on.
Nunes also says term limits are good at the state level, but not on the federal.
Beware of North Korea and their nuclear bombs. We shouldn't dismiss the crazy talk from the World's Sexiest Man (according to the Onion). What's worse than North Korea using the nuke themselves is possibly sharing their weaponry and hatred of the U.S. with others like Iran, China and Russia. Or maybe even radical Islam.
Fresno is going bankrupt. Stockton just got the judicial green light. Mayor Ashley Swearengin told me herself on this show Fresno is close. Beware.
Never morally bankrupt! firstname.lastname@example.org
