There a few cases in the news about boys who want to be girls and are continually granted rights as girls. A Colorado case gave a six-year the right to use the girls room, even though he is born a boy! A six year old? This is insane. his has to stop! A transgendered child? This is maniacal. Child abuse in my opinion.
I blame the parents. Parents are responsible for raising their kids right. They have an obligation to teach their children right and wrong, in the manner they say fit. You need unconditional love. But that doesn't mean permitting your child to do whatever they want, including letting little girls live as little boys. Being a responsible parent is saying no.
Fire Chief Rob Brown has been charged with six counts (five felonies and a misdemeanor) related to his June 12 spousal abuse case. I think he's done as our fire chief. I just hope he can get his family life back together. The city, through city manager Mark Scott (in probably in his last statement) says:
“We're working with our lawyers to make sure all appropriate actions are taken. We will provide an update over the next few days. This is a very serious situation, and we are handling it accordingly.”
15 Republican senators proved they have no backbone and voted for the immigration bill. They are so scared that they might not get re-elected and lose the vote of Hispanics and blacks, they vote against their principals. Would George Washington be proud of these senators? I don't think so. He's not a caver. He had solid principals and stood his ground on most of them.

A Minnesota politician got in hot water today when he tweeted that Supreme Court Justice Thomas was "Uncle Thomas" and then said he didn't even know the racial implications of that term. That state legislator, Ryan Winkler, is a white guy and a Democrat.
And then, there is Paula Deen who got fired by "The Food Network" for revelations that she used the N-Word in the past. Many callers chastised Deen for the remarks saying there is no proper use for the word.
Some callers talked about their personal experience growing up in the South and how hurtful that word can be.
