“Two and a Half Men” star Angus T. Jones who plays Jon Cryer’s son “Jake” on the show is calling Two and a Half Men “filth” and is urging people not to watch it. In a new video that was posted on YouTube yesterday, Angus recorded a Christian testimonial where he talks about his search for a new church, his Bible study, and how he’s using religious practices in his daily life. But then, he looks right in the camera and says: “If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’” Angus says he doesn’t want to be on the show anymore and for people to stop filling their heads with filth. He then said, “People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.” He then starts to imply that the Devil works through shows like Two and A Half Men. There hasn’t been a comment yet from Warner Bros. Angus renewed his contract in May for this current season and he’s earning around $300,000 per episode. The show is TV’s third most-watched comedy. There's a scheduled rehearsal this morning so we will see if Angus shows up.
In happier TV news, Cory and Topanga are back! Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to a new show called “Girl Meets World.” It's the pilot for a sequel series to the 90s sitcom “Boy Meets World.” It’s going to be on the Disney Channel and will revolve around the daughter of Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence more than a decade after the final episode of the original show.
They got engaged last spring, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wedding is coming soon! Brad Pitt says he is getting more pressure from their kids, and it is something he wants to do within their lifetimes, but he also feels like the time has come and it’s definitely “soon.” Brad and Angelina’s schedules are so full that he says finding a convenient time to get married is difficult. But after years of raising six children together, Brad says a wedding will be sooner rather than later.
