Anderson Cooper went temporarily blind while on assignment in Portugal last week. He said he was shooting a story on the water for two hours and hadn’t realized the damage the sun was doing to his eyes. He woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like his eyes were on fire. He thought he had sand in his eyes or something, so he flushed his eyes with water. But it turns out, Anderson’s eyeballs were sunburned!
Frankie Muniz (from Malcolm in the Middle) suffered a stroke last week. He was in the hospital last Friday. He tweeted: “I suffered a ‘Mini Stroke,’ which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!” Getting old? He turns 27 today. Frankie didn’t give any other info about the causes of his stroke.
Michael Bublé has confirmed that he will be working with Reese Witherspoon on a duet for his upcoming album – which should be released sometime next year. He said he’s a really big fan and wanted to do this with her for some time now. Reese sang in the movie “Walk the Line” – and back then, said singing was the most challenging, horrifying experience of her life.
Forbes has released its list of Hollywood’s 10 Most Overpaid Actors of 2012 – and guess who is at the top? Eddie Murphy. Forbes looked the actors’ salaries for their last three films with Box Office grosses and studio budgets. They estimate that for every $1 Eddie made for his last three movies (which were Imagine That, A Thousand Words and Meet Dave), the films earned an average of $2.30. There are a few other surprises on the list:
