Could you imagine Jon Bon Jovi yelling "You're going to Hollywood!"?

Jon admitted that he turned down the chance to be a judge on shows like The X Factor and American Idol last year because he was too busy.

He told The Sun: "I was offered all of [the talent shows] last year but it's not for me because I have a job - we're busy."

Jon is currently on a world tour celebrating 30 years of Bon Jovi - and said he has a lot of sympathy for contestants on shows like Idol. He said:

"I had 23 years to write my first record - I was able to develop a career in bars, I would never have won any of those contests."

"You see them there and they can hit the high note and then a year later they're a trivia question. It's a big ask of these kids."
